Grant Township Senior Committee

Grant Township wants to give seniors a place to go. We want to offer help, support and activities for seniors.  We invite all seniors to attend to discuss what you would like the Township to do for you. Open up your hearts and minds and give us some directions. We do not want to offer services that do not meet your needs.

Dear Senior Citizen,
Thank you for taking time to meet with us at the Grant Township Hall on Thursday, August 3rd.  It was a pleasure seeing all of you and we appreciate your comments.  We have gone over the enclosed list of issues brought up by the attendees and we will start to take action on some of them.
The meeting made it very clear we can go a long way by just using our current resources and communicating information to you.  We will work on publishing a Senior New Letter and a Resource Directory.
We are still receiving input from seniors, examples: Seminar on reverse mortgages, maintenance free homes for senior (town home, ranch condo, gated communities, etc.).
We will be scheduling another meeting in the future to discuss actions taken and what programs we are looking at for the future.  If you have any additional suggestions either Email us at granttownship@sbcglobal.net or call us at (847)546-8880 or (847)740-2233.
Sincerely,
Grant Township Senior Committee
